Youth Programs
Arab Youth Collective : AYC is our youth leadership group. The Collective is made up of local high-school and college-aged Arab youth leaders who want to build a better future for the Arab community. They have three main areas of work:
School Partnership
Community Engagement
Advocacy
Arab Youth Collective
We’re committed to building bridges and creating opportunities for our youth. We partner with organizations like The Center on Policy Initiatives, Youth Organize California, NNAAC, and others to connect our youth with paid fellowships. These fellowships offer hands-on experience in the nonprofit world, while equipping youth with tools, skills, and leadership development rooted in transformative youth organizing. Youth get to complete their fellowships within their own communities, at Majdal, and gain valuable experience but also strengthen their communities.

We’re excited to announce that sign-ups are now open for our weekly Dabke program for boys and girls ages 12–24!
Dabke Workshops
Mentorship is a core part of our youth programming. We support newcomer and immigrant youth with homework help, tutoring, college readiness guidance, and overall mentorship. By emphasizing cultural understanding and language access, we help ensure youth have a stronger chance to succeed and thrive.
